Steps in Warriston Close, Cockburn Street
As climbs in the Old Town of Edinburgh go, this is the long one. The steps run alongside the City Chambers, connecting Cockburn Street to the High Street. Most of the original buildings in the close disappeared when street improvements were carried out in the 1860s.
