There 's a gap in the tenements here, very probably by design rather than misfortune befalling the site. The site was occupied by a SAAB car showroom before the brand was withdrawn. No 21 was built as "retirement living" 2014-15 Image

The Grave of Alison Cunningham
This grave in Morningside cemetery is of 'Cummy' (Cummie), the much loved Nanny to Robert Louis Stevenson. She took up the post when he was 18 months old remaining with the Stevenson household until he was an adult, nursing him through his many illnesses. RLS referred to her as his second mother dedicating his, "A Childs Garden of Verses" to her. Cummy reading and singing to him played an important part in his literary development. Significantly, the headstone was erected,as stated,"by the widow of Robert Louis Stevenson".
