45-47 Ludgate Hill
By T.E. Collcutt in 1890-91, built as the City Bank, and now a wine bar. Granite ground floor, terracotta and brick above, with prominent gables, moulded chimneystacks, finials and domes. Fun with a Flemish tinge. Grade II listed.

This building today houses a Balls Brothers bar and restaurant but a plaque on the side of the building on Pageantmaster Court reveals it was once the City Bank, established in 1891. The building underwent a restoration in 1990. Looking south-southeast.
