Britannic House, Moorgate, under construction, 1966
Taken from St Alphage's Highwalk, part of the Barbican/London Walk redevelopment. The tower has been rebuilt out of recognition since then, and the Highwalk has succumbed to the land value pressure and has been built on, destroying the concept of pedestrian open spaces envisaged at the time of redevelopment.

City Point, London
Viewed from an apparently unnamed square on the Barbican Highwalk complex. According to the official website www.citypoint.org.uk the original building was constructed as the worldwide headquarters for British Petroleum but enlarged and redeveloped in 2001 to provide office accommodation on 36 levels, its overall height of 120 metres making it in 2000 the third tallest office building in the City of London.
