City Point, Ropemaker Street
When originally built in 1967 as Britannic House, this was the headquarters of British Petroleum. It was substantially refurbished and rebuilt, and when it was re-opened in 2002 it was the second tallest building in the City of London. It became the 3rd tallest after the Swiss Re building (the Gherkin) was completed a few years later.
