Church of St. Alban, Wood Street. Of medieval origin, St. Alban was rebuilt in 1634, but destroyed by the Great Fire of London in 1666. Rebuilt, to a Gothic design by Sir Christopher Wren, it was severely damaged by bombing during WWII; only the tower remains.
