The Square Mile in one day (winter 73)
A quiet spot in Austin Friars, a contraction of Augustinian. Founded in the mid 13th Century by Humphrey de Bohun, Earl of Hereford, they thrived until the dissolution. It's chapel was given by Edward VI to be used by Dutch immigrants. It survived the Great Fire, but not the Blitz. It was rebuilt in 1957.
