The buildings on the right (nos 91-101) were built as workshops and dwellings in 1862. The architect was Philip Webb (1831-1915), more about whom can be found at http://architecture.about.com/od/greatarchitects/p/webb.htm

Clifton House, Clifton Street
A particularly impressive example of the former Victorian warehouses which abound in this area. It was built for William Lea & Co., printers, in 1900, and is currently NHS offices.

30 Crown Place Development
The poster on the end of the site offices gives an impression of how this new office block will eventually look. It is scheduled for completion in November 2008 and will comprise 195,000 square feet of office space.

Greycoat Hoarding
This blue hoarding divides the 30 Crown Place development from narrow Earl Street. The developers' logo is prominiently displayed. In recent years it has become normal practice to provide information about construction projects, including web addresses, for passers-by.
