Clock, Rosebery Avenue, Clerkenwell
The demise of the working public clock adorning commercial premises is yet another example of how the character of the urban scene has changed for the worst. This fine example on Rosebery Avenue apparently no longer works, although a plaque on the side of the clock housing records that it had undergone restoration relatively recently.
