Converted Art Deco building, Leyden Street, Spitalfields, London
In another life, late 1960s, I worked in the Accounts Department of P&O, the shipping company. I made refunds to the poor souls who weren't able to complete their round-the-world voyages. My recollection of the offices resembles the building left of centre (signed BRODY over the door and BRODY HOUSE around the clock face above it). I'm sure there was a frontage to Petticoat Lane (Middlesex Street) where there was a daily market. I recall a wonderful Jewish baker's shop. It's unlikely that this was where I worked but it can't be far out. Before the company moved into a glass tower its corporate offices were in Leadenhall Street and I daresay odd departments were on other sites. Thanks to Roger Jones for guiding me here, the hottest day of the year till then.
