Ghost sign, Spitalfields
Godfrey Phillips Ltd were tobacco manufacturers - they are still active in manufacturing cigarettes for the Indian market. The firm was founded in 1844, operated from Commercial Street, built a new headquarters in 1936.

"Patchwork Paddington", Paddington Bear, Childline
Paddington Bear designed by Childline young campaigner Rhianna at the Childline building at Folgate Street.
The bear was sold at live auction on 10th December 2014 by Christies for £11,000, with proceeds donated to the NSPCC, Chidline and Action Medical Research.
