Sadler's Bar, Lye
One of the consequences of the micro-brewery revolution is the appearance of brewery tap bars in unlikely premises, often tucked away on industrial estates. Here the bar is upstairs and is surprisingly convivial given how unattractive the building is externally. It is located very close to Lye station.

The Jukebox Shop, Lye
With streamed music so readily available on mobile phones it is perhaps surprising that there is a great deal of interest in traditional jukeboxes. But these fine old machines have enormous nostalgic value for those who remember them as an important part of their youth. The owner of this shop in Lye has been associated with jukeboxes since 1964 and now restores them to their former glory. It is an unexpected find on an otherwise drab high street.
