Christ Church, Lye
An unusually empty street scene outside the Church; very occasionally the Church opens out into this area, forming marquees with food and information. At most other times, this space is typically a space for the rough to release their litter; although it is in a rather good state on this day.

Typewriter & Equipment Co. Ltd, Lye
A noticeably antiquated frontage design to a "typewriter equipment shop" on the High Street of Lye, now likely viewed as characterful and enticing. Naturally, the services of the shop has had to diversify (general office equipment), but a display of vintage typewriters remains.

Sadler's Bar, Lye
One of the consequences of the micro-brewery revolution is the appearance of brewery tap bars in unlikely premises, often tucked away on industrial estates. Here the bar is upstairs and is surprisingly convivial given how unattractive the building is externally. It is located very close to Lye station.
