The Waggon & Horses (2) - sign, 31 Worcester Street, Stourbridge
This public house has recently reverted to its original name of the Waggon & Horses. The sign is new and in an age when many new signs are bland and often lacking a picture, it is refreshing to see this attractive and imaginative sign. In days gone by waggons pulled by horses were a common sight and therefore an easily recognisable image for a pub sign, particularly when many people were unable to read and write. Image
