Situated in an attractive rural valley, surrounded by grazing land (mainly for horses) and woodland (including coniferous plantations), surely this 19th century building is ripe for conversion by one of today's "spenders".

Grazing by Spittle Brook, Staffordshire
The foal was delightfully playful, but became fed up with me when I offered no nibbles. My horsey friends say they love Extra Strong Mints even more than the traditional apple (edit: and so do the horses!), but I'm wary of feeding other people's animals.

Grazing Land by Spittlebrook Mill, Staffordshire
A lot of the fields in the area are divided into paddocks and used for grazing horses. Two fences show here; the nearer one is by the waters diverted to run through Spittlebrook Mill; the further one is by the natural course of Spittle Brook.
