18th century model farm (detail) in Staffordshire
This shows part of Home Farm, seen from the south. The farm track shown is not a public right of way. The main farmyard was originally enclosed on all four sides. This south side was used for barns, stables and a slaughter house.
Remaining structures on this "model farm" are Grade II listed, and date from 1747-1748, with later additions. It has been suggested that William Baker of Audlem (1705-1771) may have been responsible for the design of the farm.

The "model farm" is Grade II listed and dates from 1747-1748 with later additions. These brick buildings are on the south of the site, and were formerly used as a barn, stables and slaughter house.
There are some "mature" walkers on the left struggling to cross the stile on the public footpath to Enville.
OK, I did resort to strategic use of a walking stick to aid stability while I got my leg over. ;-)

This is not the public footpath. That passes to the left of the fence (I see some walkers), and on towards Enville.
