Former toll house at Stewponey Wharf near Stourton
The former toll house at Stewponey Wharf is Grade II listed. The early nineteenth century building is octagonal. Regarding the date, 1772 is the year in which the canal was fully opened. The signwriter has mis-spelled Stewponey!
