The Old Bush (1), High Street, Swindon, Staffs
Sometimes called The Old Bush Inn, presumably to distinguish it from the nearby Old Bush public house in Swindon Road Hinksford. It used to be a pub owned by the Dudley brewers Julia Hanson & Sons. They were taken over by Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries (now known as Marston's) in 1943, but in the early 1990's the Dudley brewery was closed and production transferred to Wolverhampton. The pub still has a lot of Hansons signage outside. Image

United Reformed Church, High Street, Swindon, Staffs
The church is in what was an Ebenezer chapel, which has the date of 1820 on the front. When built it was almost certainly a Baptist chapel, as the name Ebenezer was frequently given to chapels used by the Strict Baptists.
