The Plough Inn, Cleobury Road
This very large pub is on the A4117 road to Cleobury Mortimer. It has established a good name for excellent food at reasonable prices, and so is deservedly popular and busy. It shows what can be done in these difficult times, with the right approach. Sadly others have not made the same effort, as can be seen further along the road towards Cleobury, where a long established rival has now been closed for several months. Image

The Plough Inn (pub sign), Cleobury Road
This popular pub has established a good reputation for food, and has held its own despite there being many other pubs nearby. It is part of a small group called Nostalgia Inns. The other two are in Shropshire. Image

Barn conversion in progress
I'd just delivered the roof timbers for this barn conversion in Far Forest near Bewdley - that's my tiny little lorry on the right - and managed to sneak this photo in before I left to drive back to the yard.
