School Gardens under construction (2), Tan Lane, Stourport-on-Severn
School Gardens is a new retirement development by Bromford, a social enterprise, which has been in existence for over fifty years. The site is that of the former Tan Lane Primary School, later renamed Stourport First School. There will be sixty apartments both one bedroom and two bedroom. Most of the apartments are in new buildings but three of them will be in the original school house, which dates from 1892-93. Christadelphian Hall, Bewdley Road, Stourport-on-Severn
The building, which was at one time the former Old Parish Room, is used by Stourport Christadelphians for worship. The Christadelphians are a Christian group, although not generally regarded as a mainstream one.
