There are boardwalks on both sides of the brook, but they don't extend to some parts of the path which can get extremely muddy in the winter months.

The Hoo Brook photographed from Heronswood Road. On both sides of the brook here there is a board walk, which makes walking easier, and makes a circular route possible. Currently where there is no board walk, the ground can get very wet and/or muddy.
