Lowland Works carpet warehouse, Green Street, Kidderminster
The Lowland Works of T & A Naylor Ltd was behind the photographer and connected to this 1960 warehouse building by an overhead bridge. The works was demolished in 2001 with the exception of this warehouse that is now used by a carpet sales business.

Green Street, Kidderminster
I believe the majority of these buildings are the back of Mortons Works that occupied much space between New Road and Green Street and are now in multiple occupancy. Mortons Works was a carpet factory. The raised section in the background was probably (in my interpretation) the warehouse for Lowland Works that was built in 1960 and connected to the main works by a bridge. Lowland Works was demolished in 2001. I really do wish I had paid more attention to Kidderminster in the 1990s when there was more to see.

Kidderminster Water Works (1), Pump Street, Kidderminster
This pumping station was built in 1905. It is still in use today, operated by Severn Trent Water Limited. The pumping station replaced an earlier one of 1872, built nearby in Green Street. That building, or some of it, apparently still exists as part of a Wyre Forest Council depot.

Any Latin scholars out there?
Keith Edkins has submitted the following well received comment - I'm no great Latin scholar but I think "Deo iuvante arte et industria floret" means "With God's help, by art and industry it (i.e. Kidderminster) flourishes".
Thanks Keith.
