Yetminster: signpost at the main crossroads
This signpost is a modern replica of a Dorset signpost - an original would have rounded rather than pointed fingers, with screw-in lettering rather than the adhesive ones here.
The traditional finial, containing location name and grid reference, is also a modern replica - see Image for a close-up.

The Old School House at Yetminster
This school was founded by Robert Boyle, and was built in 1697. A plaque on the wall describes the history. It remained a school until 1945. The building is now a gallery and cafe.
