Sherborne: former Lenthay Road Post Office and postbox № DT9 62
I imagine that from the air this would just look like a double-garage attached to one of the large houses along Lenthay Road. It is in fact the former post office, which opened in the summer of 1937. On 12 October 1995 it was replaced by West End Post Office (see Image]). The premises are currently a funeral director's office.

Sherborne: Ed?s the Barbers
This building was the location of West End Post Office from its opening on 12 October 1995 (see also Image, which it replaced) until the postmistress retired on 23 November 2011. There has not been a suburban post office in Sherborne since that date.

Sherborne: postbox № DT9 61, Littlefield
A slightly closer view of Image], which was West End Post Office from 12 October 1995 to 23 November 2011. The postbox is a 'Type K' box, a fairly familiar design which was introduced in 1980.
