Newtown, Beaminster
New houses bridging the gap between the town and its northern suburb. They face the playing fields of Beaminster School. The road lead to a choice of dead ends for vehicles, but there are lots of rights of way, and the Wessex Ridgeway goes past.

At least, I think this must be the Brit, channelled leat-like past new houses beside Fleet Street. Numerous headwaters congregate in Beaminster, just south from here.
