West along Forty Foot Way, West Bay
Towards Hill Rise and West Cliff Road. The West Bay website records that the name Forty Foot Way was derived in 1920 by a requirement from the Earl of Ilchester to allow a 40 feet wide right of way access strip over his land to the newly-formed West Cliff Estate.
