Easton clock tower
The gardens took some time to create from proposal to opening, so the addition of some pleasing features came along a year later in 1905. The council engineer and surveyor, Robert Stevenson Henshaw, designed the tower and the clock was built by John Smith and Sons of Derby; Wakeham Brothers of Plymouth erected the edifice using locally quarried stone. When it was officially unveiled on 21st May, 1907, the cost was £310, with another £25 still to source from the celebrations. Grade II listed.
