Portland: Royal Mail Local Delivery Office
The Local Delivery Office, or LDO, is in this small industrial park, the road being named Tradecroft. The postbox (see Image]) has the latest collection times of any of the 22 postboxes on the island – 5:30pm weekdays and 12:30pm Saturdays.

Tout quarry
One of the best of Portland's old quarries, full of butterflies and flowers in summer. The quarry is currently managed by Portland Sculpture and Quarry Trust http://learningstone.org and is home to many fascinating sculptures.

Lano's Arch at Tout Quarry, Portland
This is Lano's Arch in Tout Quarry. It is part of the Merchant's railway, which was the first private railway in the country, funded jointly by the stone merchants to carry stone to the barges at Castletown. (description not written by photographer).
