A view north along the main north-south route through this part of the island. Notice that I was able to stand in the middle of the road to take this shot, at about 3.20 on a Friday afternoon.
Many of the houses in this quarrying area remain grey and unpainted, something of a contrast to streets at the north end of the island Image
