Construction in Corscombe
One of the stone properties in the main village street was being rebuilt. An internal concrete block wall had been built which was supporting a new roof. A new outer stone wall was being added to keep the house in character with the other properties lining the street.

Main Street Corscombe
Corscombe sits down in the valley below and just to the north of the A356 Crewkerne to Dorchester road. Many of the houses such as these ones are stone built with thatched roofs.

One of three postboxes in Corscombe, this is the one in the village centre, on the High Street. It is emptied at 4pm on weekdays and at 9am on Saturdays.
