Stable block and farmhouse - Chantry Farm (formerly Pope's Farm), Marnhull
Both buildings are of the C17 and Grade II* Listed. The original purpose of the so called stable block is uncertain; the southern end does indeed contain evidence of stabling, but the northern part has pegged wooden beams, probably for use in the manufacture of candles. The building group has been renamed Chantry Farm.
