Run by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust,offices, information rooms, reception, shop and toilets are all in the building with the car park the other side. the reserve is over 200 hectares.free to YWT members

YWT Entrance building at Potteric Carr Nature Reserve
From the car park you enter this Yorkshire Wildlife Trust reserve through this building. Show membership card or £4.50 for an adult. Shop, cafe, indoor or outdoor seating and admin office. I walked for 4 miles around the reserve and came back to here just as the heavens opened. There is a feeling of contentment after a nice walk sat there with the rain on the windows and a large cup of coffee eating and savouring, a bacon butty!!
