Arkwright's Shop, Balby, Doncaster
In reality it is a ladies' hairdressers but this is the location of the corner shop in the BBC's comedy show - "Open All Hours". On Lister Avenue.

King Edward Road, Balby
The One Stop shop was originally built for The Doncaster Mutual Co-Operative and Mutual Society.
The stone above the door is weather worn and hard to read but commemorates the opening and lists the committee and important officials.

Open All Hours
Open all hours or at least the shop used to be when it appeared as Arkwight's General Store in the BBC comedy series of the same name. At the time of the photograph the shop was a hairdressers.
