South Street, Keelby
I have awlays been fascinated by the crenallated building walls. However, according to a recent TV programme they were a fashionable Victorian feature rather than a piece of ancient history!

Memorial to John South, Keelby Church
John South was son of George south of Croxton. He married Alice Tewidale, they had six sons and six daughters (one named "Heironima").
He died in 1591. His wife Alice's monument is nearby.
