Westbound empties on South Yorkshire main line at Balby Bridge
View NE, towards Doncaster etc. on the ex-GC (South Yorkshire) Sheffield - Doncaster etc. main line. Taken from a train overtaking it, the Class H freight is headed by a ex-GN Gresley K2 2-6-0 No. 61767 (pre-1946 No. 4677), built 8/18 and withdrawn 1/61.

Hexthorpe Flatts: BMX track
According to Wikipedia, this was the first BMX track in the UK with a 'split section'. It now appears disused, at least in any official sense, though there is nothing to prevent unofficial use.
