Old Road to church
The old main road through Barnoldby village with the church in the background presenting a somewhat quieter image to that of the present very busy road out of sight to the left.

William Smith Memorial, Barnoldby le Beck
Obelisk on the east side of the lane between St Helen's Church and The Old Rectory at Barnoldby le Beck. The memorial was erected on the spot where William Smith, huntsman to the Earl of Yarborough, fell from his horse and suffered head injuries on 11th April 1845. Smith died five days later at the home of a friend.

St Helen's Parish Church Barnoldby le Beck
Tucked away in the north of the village on higher ground. 13th century, tower 14th, the tower had to be rebuilt in 1901-2 after a partial collapse.
