Carpathian Lancers Memorial
The Lancers were based at Weelsby Park from 1945-47.
They fought during WW2 in Tobruk, Monte Cassino, Ancona and Bologna.

Entrance to Weelsby Woods
There are two lions that stand either side of the main entrance to Weelsby Woods. The lions are apparently over 100 years old. They were renovated and cleaned in 2006 and subsequently look different to how I remember them!
