Ranskill Post Office postbox DN22 75
Large size EIIR pillar box. For some reason it has been sited inside the driveway entrance to a private house - never the Post Office - not exactly outside the Post Office itself.

The Blue Bell at Ranskill
In a once prime location alongside the old Great North Road. There is a bench mark http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4258401 on the left hand side of the building next to the traffic light.

Former Ranskill Methodist Church
Built originally by the Primitive Methodists. The nearer building was the Sunday School, built to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897. A panel between school and chapel carries a building date of 1868. The school building is currently undergoing modification.
