St.Helen's church, Lea, Lincs.
A Perpendicular tower and Decorated north aisle, much restored by Pearson in the 19th century. Cromwell reputedly stabled his horses in the church before the Battle of Lea on July 28th 1643.

The Joint Line near Gainsborough Lea Road
Looking towards Gainsborough this is the line from Lincoln and the south which heads towards Gainsborough. At Gainsborough Trent junction one line heads north towards Doncaster the other east to Retford and Sheffield.
