The old Station building at Northorpe
The railway now only sees a sparse passenger service, and the double track has been reduced at some stage to a single track.

Railway buildings at Northorpe
This shows the former station building and goods shed and the signalbox which is still in use controlling the level crossing and a loop on the Gainsborough - Barnetby line.

Northorpe Signal Box and crossing
On the Barentby to Gainsborough railway line via Brigg this line has only a passenger service on Saturdays and then three trains only between Cleethorpes and Sheffield. The main use is for freight trains to and from the docks at Immingham.
