Church of St Genewys
Grade I listed parish church dating from the 12th century.
No-one seems to know why the church was dedicated to St Genewys, a dedication that appears to be unique in England. The name is thought to be derived from St Genesius, a C7th Bishop of Clermont Ferrand in France but why a church in Lincolnshire is named after him is a mystery
