Factory entrance, Falkland Way, Barton
Junction on the eastern side of the road leading to the factory. Its former incarnation, seen at Image] came to an end in March 2013 when Kimberly-Clark closed the factory which had made Huggies nappies, with the loss of 570 jobs. In the 20 years the factory had been operating, Kimberly-Clark claimed it had "not been able to build a sustainable, profitable nappies business in Europe". Kitchen and bedroom furniture makers Wren took over the 180-acre facility in August 2013, creating 98 new jobs in the process.

Factory entrance on Falkland Way
This is the entrance to a huge manufacturing site. Until recently it made Huggies nappies for Kimberly-Clark but is now producing Wren kitchens. Quite a difference!
