Church of St Oswald, Althorpe
15th century, built on the site of an earlier church with links to the Knights Templar and the Mowbray family http://www.culture24.org.uk/am379846. When I visited on a Wednesday morning there was a very active (and welcoming) tea and cake stall.

St Oswald's Church, Althorpe
The Shell Guide to Lincolnshire says of Althorpe:- "St Oswald is in the quiet of the Isle of Axholme and seems to have absorbed into its church and buildings some of the mud from the Trent on which it stands. The late Perpendicular tower and chancel were built by Sir John Nevill in 1483 whose arms and that of the Mowbray family appear in the stone carving of the arch over the west door."
