Green space in suburban Scunthorpe
This field brings many memories for the photographer, who lived in Spalding Road, to the right of shot. There used to be a fallen tree in the centre which was a meeting point for many kids from surrounding streets.
It's good to see the green space has been preserved.

The Lincoln Imp, Lincoln Gardens, Scunthorpe
An estate pub built at the same time as the extensive housing of this part of Scunthorpe due to the rapid expansion of the Scunthorpe steel works in the early 1960's.
