The old car park - and a Deltic
I have included this photo not for the train in the foreground, as there are plenty of other Geographs of the station, but for the car park in the background which has since been demolished and rebuilt with more storeys (see Image ). But for those who are interested the loco was 55007 'Pinza' on the 12.45 Hull to Kings Cross.

Surprisingly a deserted level 6 at Doncaster railway car park
Maybe not that surprising as all the warnings about travel and congestion with the ongoing Olympics have put travellers off.

Doncaster Corporation no.42 at North Bus Station ? 1971
At this period Doncaster had a number of separate bus terminals, including north and south bus stations, Christ Church green and central streets.
Bus 42 is a Leyland Royal Tiger Cub of 1965 with Roe bodywork, the chassis type being unique to Doncaster although it formed the basis of the later numerous Leyland Leopard chassis.
