The Market Cross, Tickhill
Dates from 1777. http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-334354-market-cross-tickhill- It stands in what would have been Tickhill's market place but is now little more than an ornament in a traffic island. Alterations to the road plan and some sympathetic building could transform this area into something rather more attractive and useful.
