The old village well - Rossington
Very little information to be found about this historic artefact on the internet. Across the road from it, the old houses are called "Fountain Cottages" - suggesting that it may have been known as the village fountain - with water bubbling up from a spring. It is probably associated with nearby St Michael's Church.
