A grade II listed house adjoining the rear of Bedale Hall, dated early to mid C18. The archway, under which the old Lancaster coach road once passed, was closed to traffic in 1777. LBS No: 333550

Bedale market cross
Standing in the centre of the broad main street where it changes from North End to Market Place. The cross is ancient, but probably not as old as the town's market charter which dates back to 1251.
