The Otterington Shorthorn
The pub's own website describes the building as an 18th century coaching inn, although the front of the building with its upvc window frames looks newer. It would make sense if this had been a coaching inn as the A167 was one version of the 'Great North Road', whilst in the 1920's this was actually the A1!
