County Hall
Home of North Yorkshire County Council. Built in 1906 by Brierley and described by Pevsner as "neo-William-and-mary, with rather more Baroque centre and angle displays".

County Hall, Northallerton
The facade of County Hall, home of North Yorkshire County Council, looked imposing even on the very wet day I visited. Not conducive to taking any more photos in the area, especially as I was in my suit.

The Station Hotel, Northallerton
The pub appears to have reverted to its original name, having been called at one time the Railway Hotel. It was rebuilt in 1902 although there had been a hotel called the Horse and Jockey on the site from 1810, i.e. prior to the coming of the railways, serving the local racecourse. Listed Grade 2 (list entry 1244728) for its art nouveau decoration.

Sign for the Station Hotel, Northallerton
The sign depicts a generic steam train at a station with curved platforms, i.e. not Northallerton (possibly York was used as a model). See Image for context.
